Operation
Patriot Readiness Beginning with the March, 2006 District Board Meeting, Reports of the Committee Chairs will be available as PDF files. This prevents a duplication of effort on the part of the CS Staff in presenting the reports. Commodore and Bridge Still awaiting comprehensive Sector response plans for Long Island North and South. Response plans have been submitted individually by Divisions 1, 7, 13, 18, 22, and 25. Two items concerning Emergency response planning that should be of interest to all. 1. The Weather channel will run a special on NYC being hit with a category 5 hurricane on Sunday, November 15 at 2130. 2. There is the possibility of the evacuation zone for Indian Point to be extended from the current 10 mile radius to 50 miles. Respectfully Submitted,Alan Yuen Commodore, At N-Train, standard forms for reporting response plans for Marsec levels 1,2 and 3 were distributed. I have forwarded these forms to the RCO's prior to the last Diastrict Board meeting and they should have been trickling down to the Flotillas. I still have not recieved any forms back at this time. Rear Commodores and Division Captains, Please work with your Flotillas to have them completed and returned ASAP. A copy of the form has been attached to this electronic report. If by chance I recieve any forms prior to the Board meeting, I will update my report at the meeting. Also, Congratulations to Divisions 2,4,14 for the sucessfull completion of Operation Fogknife, a large scale MDA exercise in the Sector New York AOR and Divisions 7 and 22 for their exercises at Station Eatons Neck for TopOff3. Both were excellent exercises for Patriot Readiness. Thank You.
