On May 17 and 18, Division 15 hosted a C-school for Auxdata IS training. The training was held at Shaker High School in Latham , NY. The instructors were: Bill Tooker, and Yvonne Bangston , Karl and Joan Saboda. Since many of our folks were unable to attend the New London Auxdata Training during the District Conference this winter, we tried a creative approach to providing training locally. We were able to get the Shaker High School to let us use their facilities for training. We trained for 2 days. We had a barbecue one evening, and enjoyed fellowship and training.

Commander Seebald and Commander Felker spent several days in the North Country meeting folks from different Flotillas. Commander Felker will be taking Commander Seebald's command upon his retirement. On May 5, Commander Felker went to Flotilla 1509 for the meeting. The members got to meet the new Director of Auxiliary. Our members truly enjoyed his visit, and welcome him to the District. We have truly enjoyed Commander Seebald's dedicated service, and fellowship! He will be truly missed but never forgotten.

A fishing derby was held in Fort Ticonderoga on June 7, 2003. About 150 kids attended. The Coast Guard Auxiliary was present with Flotilla 1513 taking the lead, and assistance give by Flotilla 1502, 1504, and 1509. We had a PA booth and 3 vessels facilities patroling .The Elks gave the kids fishing poles, tackle boxes and free food. The kids and adults had a great day!
