Auxiliary National Conference, NACON 2005.

1SR Auxiliary Members and their families get together for a group photo before the

The Vice COMO Thomas Venezio, his wife and auxiliary friends and family from 1SR, sharing some great fellowship at NACON.	COMO Nick Kerigan ARCO-E, and his wife Susan and son James and daughter Christine, take a moment to share before the formal dinner.

David A. Elliot receives The Auxiliary Distinguished Service Medal. Mr. Elliot is cited for exceptionally meritorious service to the Government of the United States in a position of great responsibility as Chief, Auxiliary Aviation Training Branch and Deputy Department Chief Operations.	Wayne B. Spivak receives Auxiliary Meritorious Service Award. Mr. Spivak is cited for meritorious service in the performance of duty as Branch Chief, Special Assignments for the Public Affairs Department and as Chief, External Communications Division.

Boat US Award for Best Flotilla in the Nation. Flotilla 10-13, D1SR . Bravo Zulu!	Wayne B. Spivak Receives Auxiliary Achievement Metal.COMO Arthur Reichling receives Coast Guard Meritorious Team Commendation Award

The NACON Conference was held this August 30- September 4, 2005 at the Rosen center in Orlando Florida . 1SR was very well represented at this conference, and the weather was outstanding! David A. Elliot received the Auxiliary Distinguished Service Medal. He was cited for exceptionally meritorious service to the Government of the United States in a position of great responsibility as Chief, Auxiliary Aviation Training Branch and Deputy Department Chief Operations, while Wayne B. Spivak receives Auxiliary Meritorious Service Award. Mr. Spivak is cited for meritorious service in the performance of duty as Branch Chief, Special Assignments for the Public Affairs Department and as Chief, External Communications Division . Flotilla 10-13 was given an award , by Boat US for the best flotilla in the Nation –2 nd year in a row! Arthur Reichling was given the Coast Guard Meritorious Team Commendation Award. Congratulations to all-as you continue to make 1SR proud! A great time was had by all!

Dante Laurino and his son enjoy a few father and son moments at NACON.	The National Board and Staff were dressed up for the Future as Star War Characters, for the Fun Night Dinner at NACON. Nick Kerigan, wife Susan, daughter Christine and son James, were looking sharp!
